well I just got a weber put on a few days ago so now I can find my water keak. I hear the hiss coming from the port side of the engine maybe under all the smog pump stuff that Im soon going to be removing. the engine has about 250,000 on it. This is the second engine of course. Could it be the head gasket, the oil is fine. no water in the oil. I cant find the hiss if the engines cold, its frustrating. Its been running like this for about 9 months, lossing water. I even hooked up my own mok-overflow for the radiator and it works. And I just put on this weber but ive seened to lost some horsepower up hill, not enough sudds, its kind of strange for a weber. But if anyone knows anything about these LUV issues any advice would help. My LUV is a 1978 with about 400,000 on it. The oldest new part in the truck is the radiator, its about 17 years old, I thought that was the cause of the water loss. Every part in this truck has been replaced except the trans and the rearend.oh well i could talk alnight about my truck.
