I was just wondering do i have to have the vapor canister hooked up for the truck to work right? I took my tank off to get all the rust out and the metal ends that go to the vapor canister are rusted. BAD. So i just needed to know if i could plug them and be all right or if i needed to fix them somehow and hook that thing back up. Thanks

The tank does need some type of venting. Why did you post this under the website thread?
