hi i have a 72 luv in peices that im trying to reassemble and turns out i need new wiring and a new harness i checked out a couple sites but am not still sure what exactly i need, the trucks only needing reverse/tail/break/headlights signals/hazards fuel pump, cooling fan, guages, and radio. also just an idea is it possible/ worth it to use the harness out of a 92 rodeo? thanks

You could start there. It will be a lot of work. Try replacing the 6 in http://www.luvtruck.com/PDF/Series6.pdf with whatever is the right series number for your 72.

Well 72 is series 1, and I'd recommend just using wire and connectors to rebuild the harness according to the wiring diagram, there aren't that many. I guess you could buy a universal one.

yeah i looked at some universal ones today and i think thats what im gonna have to go with, i have no electrical experience besides stereos and speakers. the harness i was looking at is really simple but it said in prewired circuits one of them was Electric Fuel Pump/Cooling Fan. does that mean i run both on the same circuit? can i post a link to it or am i not allowed to? thanks for the help guys

I know on the 72's the back lights were under the tailgate, but a harness from 75 should still work, right? If so I may have one for you.

so when i checked it turns out all the accessory wires are still there but nothings labeled from when they pulled the old harness so i was wondering if anybody knew of a color coded diagram so then i can just do a quick match up and be done with it
