Sorry, not to sound too stupid, but how do I pay people for parts in the Classifieds or receive money for parts I sell?
PayPal? Money order? Any help will help. Thank you.

Ask the person you're paying. The forum doesn't have any say in how people take payment, it's a seller thing. You're doing business with an individual, not with the forum.

In general, do your best to make sure you know who you're dealing with, don't give out credit card numbers or bank account info, don't send cash in the mail, etc.

Jack

I've always been told you shouldn't send cash in the mail, but never why. So.... Why not?
Is there a specific reason, or just the obvious like...

no proof of receipt on other end

no way to put a stop payment on it

if the envelope gets torn open, it'll probably get taken

I ask, because if I was only sending $30-$50, I'd be willing to take the risk for the convenience. There's no law against it, right?
