Best advice I can give is to buy a Chilton or Haynes Manual, they should tell you step by step how to do it. You can find them in the Classifieds section of this site, on eBay, or at your local AutoZone or auto parts retailer.

I just baught one and unfortunatly it only tells you how to take the rear axle apart. it shows a bunch of 2wd frontends but no 4wd front ends.

Try buying a LUV service manual, it should be in those. Always some floating around the classifieds here or on feebay. What year is your truck? I got a 9 and a 10 manual, don't know if I have an 11 or not...

1980 is a series 10. That is the manual to look for. Found this one in the classifieds section here, I am sure there are more...
