Do yourself a favor and replace it with a Weber carb. I did and never looked back. I also re-curved the dist.

A common place for LUV leaks into the floorboards is the rubber seals around the wiper shafts where they penetrate the aforementioned cowl- the rubber gets old & brittle, cracks, leaks when it rains. I sealed mine with a piece of rubber hose, others have used a cut down spark plug boot.

Thanks for the tip sir. i figured out that my vent area on the passenger side was missing a screw so i threw it on, no leaking from that side still leaks from drivers side though. Ill it seems to be comming down the side of my dash?
