I just purchased a 1980 Chevy luv 4x4 from down south. The truck is very very clean. Everything works on the truck down to the seat belt buzzer and cigarette lighter. I have $4000.00 thousand in the truck. The motor has a slight knock and leaking oil from the timing chain. Still runs pretty well surprisingly. I have found a new 1.8 motor locally for $1250.00. To make a long story short, How much is this luv worth with the new motor? I planed on putting a 350 chevy in this truck but is so clean i can't bring my self too!

if it is in really good shape and stock like it sounds then you can probably get 4-5k out of it if you wait for the right buyer i know they have sold on ebay in prestine shape for around there, with a 350 you would need to find the right buyer to get as much from it since 350 swapped luvs are a lot more common then bone stock ones in good shape are, and the ratio is growing daily in favor of the stocker
