HI guys, I was primarily sent here by Isuzupup.com.

Anyway I cracked the head on my 84 isuzu pup 1.9 gas engine and I saw that putting on a 1.8 head will raise power/compression a little.
I am not planning on doing any other mods to this engine, all emissions are deleted, even EGR.
So my ? is if I put the 1.8 head on with no other mods, can I still run the engine on 87 octane or will it ping?

Thanks!

a lot of newer motors run 9.5:1 to 10.5:1 compression on pump gas i dont think you will have that problem with a g200 hybrid....
