hey all, sorry I haven't been around much. Some of you have been e-mailing me to see if I'm still alive, and I am. I just haven't really been working on the luv. However about two weeks ago Johnny (<--my now-fiance!! boy have I been gone a long while...) got my crossmember welded into my pretty, pretty truck and now everytihng can be pieced together. Here are two pics

ummmm yeah it's supposed to be running by my birthday (end of April) so we'll see. I'll be an extremely happy camper if it is!

oh and guess what we did two weeks ago?! Went to the AutoClub 500 NASCAR race in California! It was way fun. Have you guys been to NASCAR races?

this was the night of the Busch race, I think it's one of the better pics I got

I'm embarrased to say that I live less than 10 miles from California Speedway and I have yet to set foot on the property. :(

I think it's the crowds that are keeping me away?

haha! I just can't stay away. I'm really excited to drive my truck, people get the most puzzled looks on their faces when they see a girl in such a tinsy truck and realize there's something bigger than there should be under the hood. haha.

ack what! Jeez. That's neat 'cause we were right there, and sad because you haven't been to the raceway. haha. You should go, it was a lot of fun. yeah crowds...never have I seen so many people in one place. I hadn't realized they put racetracks in such populated areas. I'm sure everyone around can hear the cars loud and clear.

yeah I thought it was pretty fun! We don't have anything like that up in Washington, so it was definitely new and memorable.

thanks! yeah it's just been so slow....we had the crossmember cut to fit in between the frame, then we ran into a bunch of bumps with getting everything else to fit in, I'm just really glad we've finally got things back on track now. I can see the light!
