I dont know about you guys, but I am disgusted with how damn big trucks in America are now. Remember when the Tacoma was a cool smallish truck? Now it is as big as all the other huge trucks on the road. I am going to write Toyota a letter and suggest that they bring back the mini truck on their Scion line. You know that if they could make a cool looking mini that got good gas mileage at a reasonable price it would sell well. Well, there is my rant for today, let me know what you guys think. RF

Yeah, my dad wrote isuzu a while back asking why they didn't have a diesel truck, or a colorado with a smaller engine, etc... they wrote back saying that due to pollution of their new 4 cyl diesels they won't pass normal emessions and other excuses but they were working on other things to bring to the US.

yeah those mini vans with a 18 foot bed a v8349o8t5r3749 size engine, 9 feet in the air, 10 gallons per mile, and little old ladys drive them. Like 90% of them never see a off road situation, so why the six wheel drive? I think they are retarded. you know kinda like what ezekiel has. A huge truck that doesnt even know what mud is or a trailer of any type.

I cant bash the guys or gals who drive the big SUV's, I drive a Wrangler with 33's on it and get 17mpg myself. I just think that the auto companies are missing out on a market. Although I could see the police photos of a mini crashed under a frame of a SUV :? I just personally have never liked big autos. But also, I do not have a bunch of kids either. I think that we will see the return of smaller U.S. cars now that gas prices are here to stay. RF

I worked at a Mitsubishi dealer about 10 years ago. We could not give the mighty max truck line away. Most people want a bigger payload. That is why Mitsubishi dropped the line here in the states. I still own a 95 mighty max, what a great truck, I love it. On the other end I do own a big ass gas guzzler as well, a 02 Chev 2500HD with a 8 inch lift and 38" tires, which I love that as well.

I have owned several mini trucks in the past and a couple of full size. Both have their advantages and disadvantages. I am looking for a truck right now, and from what I have seen a Toyota Tacoma 4X4 gets around 18 miles per gallon. So the way that I see it, if I am looking at that kind of gas mileage, I will just get a full sized truck.

Ultra Low Sufler Diesel is here now. Less than 15PPM (S15)and Low Sufler Diesel (What we have used S500) is 500ppm. So good diesel is here.

All the former mini truck makers are trying to make full size truck. V8 suppercharged whatever. No El Cameinos either. All you can do is build up a old mini truck. They still make mini trucks but none are imported. The Mits-Dodge D50 with the turbo diesel was a good truck. The early S10-S15
were small, others too.

To bad You can not import some from other countries. Maybe someone can figure out how to do it like Bettle-Mex did it with the bugs. They took your bug to mexico, changed everything out but it stillrd used the old vin and was like a new car.

Grandmaster of the "Shade Tree" way.. I can't see the yard for all the cars. Come on down and we will sit on the porch and watch the grass grow.
