Ever since i converted the front drums to disk, my front rims have taken a beating from brake dust. I need to find something that cleans this crap off my rims. I'm a lazy bastard and i would like an easy solution. Any ideas?

quit using metallic pads.....I won't use them because of the nasty dust.
you can use organic instead.

I've avoided the car wash because i recently painted the truck and just less than a week ago i was able to finish putting a new coat of wax on the truck. I haven't tried any cleaning products or pressure from a car wash because of the unprotected paint. The pads are only a few months old and i'll wear them out before i replace them.

do u have a "dollar general" around u it may be cheap but it works VERY VERY well some "mean green" or "grease lightning" either one is very very good the mightning is actually a little better but it will take anything off i put it on my pants that i get grease on be fore i wash it u can never tell there was ever grease on there, also on anything else i use it on.

Later

btw u may be able to purchase these products else where but as far as i know dollar general is the only place.

I use QuickSilver on my Trans Am wheels, works great! Available at most stores.
