then you should check out this thread over at street source forum. Courtney (the original poster of the thread over there) is a very famous editor that used to work on mini truckin way back when and then help found street trucks, and is now with another truck mag. He is asking if you guys wwant to see more tech articles on older trucks and he mentions the luv. Some of you guys have some wicked stuff over here and probably could be featured for a tech article or at least interviewed.

I love old trucks but I hate it when I see older trucks all tricked out because it's just more competition for me. I wanna be the one guy at the show with a tricked out old school mini lol.

A Luv showed up in Car Craft in the readers rides section last month. I remember Courtney in some old car sound system mags and Mini Truckin. It seems like old is new again.

its alreay too late, the old school mini thing has been gaining popularity since 03-04ish. Guys got tired of seeing s10s with the same mods over and over at shows so they started using other platforms, more rangers, yota, and nissans started showing up at shows. Let me clairify, most of the imports have always been popluar platforms but got a little more so recently. Now there is nothing unique left to build and nobody makes a "true" mini truck anymore except ford so the older minis started getting built. I see more and more ol 620's around the portland area sporting a drop now.... so the more obsure mini you can find the better off and more unique you will be. Luvs are fairly common, in comparison to other trucks that are more rare but they still count cause you still dont see that many around with a body drop, bags, wheels and tons of body mods.

more rare trucks that I can think off off the top of my head I would trade my luv/isuzu for.....mazda repu, toyota stout <--- i'd really like to have one of these!!!!!!!!!!!!
