Well one important lesson I learned again (my truck has been apart too long)
having a v8 in your luv means less you have to spend on wiper blades.

my luv weighs in at 2900 with the small block, the 9 inch and the rest of the race gear. It also has 2 80 pound brass bars in the back for weight transfer and traction. Add 250 more for my fat butt. still runs 10's though lol. If it wernt 39 degrees out and i was street legal i would get ya'll a video but dang....its january and the track aint open

i feel ya brother,i have had my luv for two weeks it has a older 350 block thats stock but it has late model vortech heads with a weiand stealth intake and holley 600.th350 stock and stock valvetrain.it still has the stock rearend and is lowgeared as hell (topspeed is about 70-80 mph)but damn will it get there faster than PBR BEER SQUIRTS!!!!!!

for you guys that dont know about PBR BEER SQUIRTS thats pretty damn fast :D

i plan on a nice cam and roller rockers soon but before that the rear has to get some help with gears.lookin for an s-10 swap.

2870 in race trim , weld wheels , no tailgate , no exhaust

Superb! The resolution +/- 20 lbs is good and impressive for weighing v8 trucks. Your mentioned features are remarkable with no rear bumper, full tank of gas etc.
