hey i'll take one!!! i hate when guys diss the luv...happens all the time, but it is usually by guys who think think they know all there is to know.... we'll see whos laughing at the stop lights when my luv has a v8;) hahaha

Back before I got my 79 4x4 LUV, I used to go up in the hills with a group of friends who mostly had lifted Nissans, Toyotas, and a few full size Chevys. They gave me some grief for a while, until we went up in the snow and I broke trail for the whole group through snow deep enough that it was piling up on the hood. I got tired of getting out to push the Ford ranger that was in the lead and just took over for him. I didn't here another word against the LUV.

There isn't a much better sleeper ride than a LUV V8. You can hear that V8, but it still shocks people when they seen a LUV launch off the line like it was jet powered.
