They are the rubber seat back bumpers for the bench seat. The top edge of the back rest will hit on those 2 rubber blocks on the inside of the cab. Thats not a stupid question. The only stupid question is the one that's not asked.

I was going to say you must have aftermarket seats!!! Yep they are the bumpstops on the inside for the bench seat, just 2 more holes I have to fill on mine someday!!

you are totaly right. i wonder why they put them thru the cab instead of just glueing them on

ah well since i am putting a set of buckets outta a merc capri in i can remove them and fill the holes

I never bothered to remove them. The only reason to take them out is to clean up the exterior look. Im working on wearing out my 2nd set of bucket seats and i dont even think about those rubber stops. I'll worry about it when they rot away and fall out.
