Just wanted to let everyone know I'm LUV'in again. Finally I got my 1981 Luv 4x4 running again. I picked up a rear-end from a local junk yard yesterday and got it installed today. The rear-end came out of a 1978 2wd luv. The only thing i had to change was the housing. I used my old housing and it works beautifuly. The gears seem to be in exelent shape, I didn't notice any sigh of wear on them. Just wanted to thank everyone for all of the info you provided me with. You were all a great help. No one around here knows any thing about 4x4 luv's. If it wasn't for you guy's my truck would still be sitting in the yard just rusting away. THANKS
