im gonna get a luv pretty soon and i was wondering what kind of work would be involved in putting a bench seat in a luv :D

exactly.. and i imagine that you could get another out of a luv, or a similar small pick up. and it would be fairly easy, no harder than installing buckets

And if you got one with buckets, i'm sure that someone would willingly trade you their bench for your buckets, no problem. It seems like most people prefer buckets.

I've been thinking it would be nice to find a good comfortable split bench that would fit the LUV. I like my buckets and all, but stuff seems to like getting lost inbetween them. Something with a nice fold down arm rest would be ok too. If anyone spots something that looks like it would work let me know.

Stock luv bucket seats are very tough to find, odds are very good you'll find a truck with a stock bench in it already. Now odds are not so good that you'll find a truck with a bench in good condition, but that is another story. As for swapping, you just need to find something with similar width, if you're lucky very close width on the rails under it, and then put some holes in the floor to match it.

the little lady told me the next car needs to have a bench seat. :roll:
