I'm moving into my new place tomorrow, and I'm going to have to dump my internet connection for 3 or 4 weeks.

I'll be working hard to get my post count back up when I return though.

I'm buying the engine for my LUV in March, so hopefully I'll be back by then.

That's kind of funny about the dial-up comment!! We have had constant problems with our DSL staying on and my roomate (landlord) said she wanted to go back to dial-up (she is on about 5 hours a week) and I told her I would move out if that happened!!

I've been pretty lucky I guess...I've never had a dial-up connection, but from the few times that i used one at my friend's house, I know that I'm not missing anything. I got cable and even when it slows down its still faster than a 56K. If lost my broadband I just might jump in the truck, get up to full speed, then find a wall or tree, and me and my truck would die together

i have cable now but when i had dial-up it took close to 2 weeks to download a movie (i use kazaa alot more than the enternet itself)
