after i rebuilt my carb on my 78 i don't have any brake lights or blinkers. my tail lights do come on my high beams work and my back up lights work as well so if u can help me i would greatly appreciate it. i will keep you posted when i start my engine wap as well.

Check your fuses. On my '76 there's one fuse for "flasher, hazard, stoplamps, horn". That sounds like your culprit.

i checked all my fuses and they look to be alright but i might just go and double check n e thing else will be appreciated

check your plugs on the firewall. you might have bumped one loose as you were working.
the tails and backup lights might be on a seperate plug.....I can't remember if they are or not.
