I actually am an Isuzu guy. I loved my girl (the Trooper) until she treated me bad and I had to dump her. I bought this truck mainly as a daily driver for now (read: back and forth to school and to take my son and dog into the woods on the weakend), so I'll probably keep her stock for the time being. I would however like to find a 2.8 or 3.2 liter Isuzu engine and think about putting one in. A little unconventional, I know, but it's what I like.

JUST WANTED TO SAY WELCOME ABOARD, WE ALL LUV OUR TRUCKS :D ...BESIDES YOU CAN'T BEAT THE INFO AND KNOWLEDGE YOU HAVE AT YOUR FINGER TIPS. EVERYONE IS SO HELPFUL. IF YOU ANOTHER ENGINE THAT WOULD MOUNT UP TO THE LUV STOCK FOUR SPEED LET ME KNOW...PLEASE!

that would be cool 8) iv always wanted to find a wrecked Impulse turbo and swap that into a LUv, would be espensive i know, but hey it would also be damn diffrent :lol:
of course if i COULD find another turbo Impulse in decent running condition id build THAT instead.
i had one several years ago, blew the head gasket and warped the head. sold it for $500 8O yeah, STILL kicking myself in the ass over that one :evil:
