 Post subject: Tire Size
PostPosted: Tue Jan 14, 2003 2:57 pm
Hey peeps,

What would the widest (moderate) tire size be that would fit into the wheel wells and on the stock wheels without fender modifications? Right now my 78 is lowered 3" all around and rolling on 195/70-14. Engine and drive train is OEM 1.8, 4 spd, the usuals in a Mikado.

-Any ideas on wheel and tire combos?

Thanks Brahs...

i dont know about your rims but my stock ones were only 4in wide, so really wide tires wouldn't look right. I ran 205/70/14 's on mine and thought it looked ok, but if your lowered you might think about different rims. In my opinion lowered trucks don't look good w/ stock rims, but thats my opinion

yeah, I guess I'll just have to bring it on down to the local tire & wheel shop to see what combo works. I agree to about the stockers on a lowered truck looks kinda ifish :? ...thanks anyhow
