Haven't been on for a while been kinda busy, well the update on my truck is that i'm pissed the 350sbc is now complete and runs strong, every thing is drivable i just have a miss i'm going to put some new spark plugs in and maybe some wires. got to mess with the tranny a little not shifting where it should be. put a brand spanky new 650 edelbrock on it. Now it sounds fine so far right. well here is the i'm pissed part the stock radiator will work for now but i need the sizes and help from you guys to tell me what diminutions and cheapest route to go for that. the other i'm pissed part is i need a rear end it gets to 70 damn fast but thats all i'm gettin i need a better ratio i was thinkin like a 3:50 chevy or just a 9in ford would do the trick. thank you and pm me for any suggestions

peace out

Well as far as the Rad. go with a 19x22 aluminum rad. w/ a nice big electric fan.(prob. solved) As far as the rear either of your choices will work, but for a narrowed 9in. its gonna cost ya. Good luck.

i would go 9", much stronger and lighter than the other options. I know Nascar44 is running a full width 9" on his truck and it looks fine. Just need to get the right wheels i guess.

Ford nine inch rear ends are plentiful and strong enough for lots of horsepower. You can get a truck rear end with posi-trac, and just about any gear ratio you can think of. I've got charts and numbers if you need them. Your other choice for a stronger rear end might be a late model Blazer, Bravada, or S-10. Some of them have posi, but a higher gear ratio which sounds like what you need. There is no mystery to cutting down a Ford nine inch. You just pull the axles and third member and run a pipe the approximate size of the axles through housing. Set it up on jack stands, and take out what you need. Common sense applies, but you can do it. Moser, Strange and others can send you some axles for about $200.00 guaranteeed not to break. Ford is stronger and cheaper.

For your combo I would pick 3.73's or 4.11's Image
