Im thinking of lowering my luv. Every thing i see on doing it, is saying block the rear torsion front. Is that it no special shocks or any thing like that? What else do you have to do cause i know thats not it, to EASY.

well, when you lower the back more than 4 inches you have to watch your pinion angle. if your going 4 inches in the back you need angled blocks, but 3 or less your fine with regular blocks.
in the front, you just undo your torsions. if you want it really low, you can trim the bumbstop. you might have to get an alignment when your done though, and your probably gonna have some negative castor. but any compotant alignment shop can fix that. oh you might get some shocks for the front that have a shorter compressed end to end than the stock ones. you can break shock mounts from the shocks bottoming out.

well if you have stock shocks and you lower it, they are mostlikely gonna bottom out.
what you do is, you take your stock shock and compress it all the way and measure from end to end. then go to the parts store and ask them for a shock that has a shorter compressed end to end measurement. then you wont bottom out anymore.

nope not hard. put some jack stands under the truck on the frame in front of the leafs. then unbolt the u-bolts put the blocks in and put on the new u-bolts. be sure to get them really tight. also after about 50 miles of driving, tighten them up again.
