This is the previous thread on this topic, maybe this will answer some of your questions. I am wondering a lot about these. I certainly might be interested in one if we could get them over a Colorado.

The Colorado body style is not even impressive. The only one even half way decent is the Sport, but sucky that it doesn't come in 4x4, as far as I know anyway it doesn't. I have a '97 S-10 and it has been good to me, but I still think the 1st generation S-10 was better looking. LUV's are the best looking though. :D

The Colorado Sport comes in a 4x4 ? As far as I knew it was just reg cab 2wd. Unless the '05s are different.

I know the Colorados come in 4x4 models, I am talking about the "Sport" model. That only comes in 2wd, I think the '05 Sport you can get in extended cab 2wd also. Here is a few pics of some guys Sport that I found in a quick search.

That's ok, at least the info is here for others to read. I still would love to know if those out of country LUV's can be brought in, and if they make a 4x4 ?

Do they come in 4x4 regular cab ? If I could get one I might be interested. Do the out of country LUVs have catalytic converters ? I would think out of the country the emissions regulations are not so strict ?

Please let us know when you find out about how to get the new LUV legally into the country. I'd like to see one and it would be a nice addition to my garage next to the 79 longbed!
