well hello once more i am interested in putting a straight axle into my 79 luv ! i was wondering if any one had ay information on that b/c I seen in the photo gallery that there were two luvs with srtaight axle frontends help is greatly appreciated thank you in advance

what i would do is look at the trucks of similar size and see what matches up best for you like toyota or jeep. i did a jeep setup under a 2 wheel drive datsun with a jeep drive train it worked out real good. but i used the jeep front & rear end that way i could keep gear ratios and wheel bolt patterns matched up hope this helps. terry

i would definatly replace both axles at the same time so you keep bolt paterns and what not the same. I would probly look for some toyota stuff (should be about the same width, might have to flare fenders out though)
