well a while back i posted about how we got Cody Cannon's 327 running on a test stand and all that. i posted a link for pictures but never took them.

Well today, he finnaly drove it around the block today. its been such a long time coming. he got the motor in it about 2 months ago, but it had a crack the size of texas in one of the cylinders. so out it came for a 1500 rebuild. also the heads that he had NAPA rebuilt were shit. So last sunday night at midnight we stayed up till 430 in the morning putting the motor back in and all buttoned up. weve been working on it since then getting the fuel system routed, the radiator fitted, and all that stuff. so yesterday he finnaly fired the fresh rebuilt motor. it runs so good. its louder that hell to withthe open blockhuggers.
the motor was rebuilt by niles crankshaft in nampa, idaho (if theres anyone in the area). the motor was already 60 over so he honed it, put new cambearings in it, and completely balanced it front to back. its got a brand new 490/510 lift cam. i dont know the durations on it but ill get back to ya. it has trw forged pistons with stock rods that have beed balanced. the crank was a steel one from the beginning so it was reused. as for the NAPA rebuilt heads, the guy down there put old worn out springs on em that wouldnt even hold 45 pounds. also the valve seats we crap too. but niles rebuilt the heads with new spring seats and guides.

on friday of this week it gonna be getting exhaust and an alignment.
