I purchased a hood from Unlimited Prouducts years ago. I needed a hood, and for the price I payed for the fiberglass hood which was $200.00, plus $73.00 for shipping to my door, I thought it was a great deal. You will find most people on this site do not like the quality of the hoods from this company. You will find the hood will not be ready to paint when you recieve it, you will have to do some work to it before it is ready to paint. But for the price at that time I was happy with it. If there quality was better, I am sure they would sell a lot more products. :( It just depends on what you want the most. I was having a hard time finding a used hood that did not have ripples in it, and the thought of then buying a cowl induction hood scoup and installing it seemed like a lot of trouble. I was also afraid of the bondo braking around the hood scoup after a few years. This was the best route for me. Just remember you are sort of stuck if you don't like the hood, because you must pay shipping back to the factory if you don't like it, to get your purchase price back from the hood. And $146.00 for nothing is a lot of money. :( I know I was angry when I first saw the hood because it was rough, but after I got to working on it, it did not take that much effert to get it into shape.
