well theres this great looking luv by one of my friends house. Its kinda a tan off white colour, but anyway it has the dual headlights and the tail lights underneath the tail gate (roll pan i think is the term for where they are mounted). But anyway i dont see any for sale signs but the tires are all flat on it so should i ask if its for sale? Oh by the way the body looks great no rust and straight from what i can see.

how much do you think i should offer. Bear in mind the body looks perfect, but i doubt the same for the engine.

that is entirely up to you. i would have to see it to make a guess. is the body really good or has it been just filled with bondo? does the frame have any rust holes in it? what kind of engine does it have? 4x4 or 2wd? any factory goodies? does it run good? does it drive or is it imobile? if all is good, i would offer 1,500 and see what he says.

if all the tire are flat, pretty good sign it hasnt ran for quite awhile.
ask him what he would take first. if he says make a offer. try to put your self in his shoes and make a reasonably offer.

You could probably get a pretty good idea of what their going for by looking at "purchase Price" forum. Id look their and see what everyone has paid for theirs recently and go by that. Of corse any vehicle is only worth what your willing to pay.
