Yeah, it was an ice cream truck or something. It blew up among all the fire from the rocket they launched and the fuel tanker exploding. Good movie ! :)

Ok, here's the 9 To 5 LUV pics. I think there were a couple other LUV's in the movie here and there, but were real quick and hard to tell. This one has to be the one that you guys mentioned. Dolly is driving it too ! :D

In the movie "Highway" when they stop at a gas station just before leaving town there is a blue one at the gas station. It shows the truck in the background alot within about a few minutes time period...

Wish I had a plazma so the pic would be decent.

I can't remember since its been quite a few years, but it seems like the truck Tony Hawk drove around in Gleaming the Cube was a LUV. Might have to visit the bargain bin at blockbuster and see if I can find a copy of that Kwality movie... :P

Pizza Hut truck!!!
I have been looking for this movie on dvd for a good while. They actually changed the name of it to "Brothers For Justice" some years ago. They called it that when playing it on tv a long time ago a few times. If you find it on dvd anywhere under either name let me know!!!

Finally got Tivo to record The Woman In Red again, and here is the LUV I think you guys were thinking of. The pics are not too great, was also not very clear due to the rain in that scene. Can't really tell what year it is because of the back side shot.

Yeah, I saw that History channel special about trucks. I saw it a couple months ago. I am sure it has been on before and will be on again. They show everything over and over on those channels. I swear I caught a quick glimpse of a LUV on some show on the Science channel last week.

that's an '82-83 toyota! you can tell by the body style and square headlights instead of the round ones of the '79-81(the kind i have!)

We already established that these were not LUV's. That is why I found the LUV in the movie and posted new pics. I believe someone posted after the first pics that the 2 trucks were a Toyota and a Mitsubishi.

was watching "world's wildest police videos" today and saw a nighttime chase with a white longbed LUV. Looked to be a 78... got tagged in the driver side front when the girl lost control.. was a good looking truck too...

Nice keeping this thread alive ! I was wondering if anyone has seen any LUV's in movies lately. I just picked up Cheech & Chong Up In Smoke, I am pretty sure there are some LUV's in there. I will have to try and watch it again sometime in the near future and take pics. Busy time of the year now. Just got back from the Judas Priest concert, it was pretty killer ! 8)

I just saw an episode of macguyver at my friends house, it was the one about "the eraser" and in the begining when mac' is crossing some road a lowered 78-80 luv goes across the screen(or it was a nissan), it was red too.

My wife sent me season 2 of The Dukes of hazzard. The red and black LUV makes numorous appearances in that season. I'd imagine it shows up thru out the whole series.

I was pretty young when I used to watch that on TV, and LUV trucks were not even on my mind then ! All the action, and of course Daisy Duke was more interesting ! 8)

Is that an '81 or '82 LUV or a P'UP in Boogie Nights that the guys were driving that beat up Dirk ? It is shown just a couple times really quick, so not sure if I can get a good pic or not.
