where can i find out how much a stock motor is making? specifically a 318 dodge but if there is a big place that has it all that would be even better

The 318 engine in 1971 had a compression ratio of 8.6 to 1, put out 230 hp at 4400 RPMs, and 320 pounds of torque at 2000 RPMs...

Enjoy.

BTW that's SAE gross power, with no accessories attached and all vacuum ports plugged off. They didn't start measuring SAE net horsepower until 1972.

I can finally go to bed now.. lol :lol:
