I had a ball driving my 80 4X4 in the ice and snow here in NC. It amazes everybody that I just can't be stopped! He He My little secret is a super set of Super Z Shure Grip tire cables on all 4 wheels. That is the best money I ever spent for my luv. The traction is unbelievable. My brother( with a Dodge Ram4X4) had a very difficult time in the ice, so I took him for a little ride, scared the hell out of him(esp. when I slammed on the brakes and didn't lose control) It has the same traction as being on a wet road. If ya'll are interested just go down to your locale NAPA dealer he can hook you up!!!!

i have figured out the secret for driving in the snow. ready? here it is. buy a luv. not just any luv, no no. a worn out tired pile like mine. it doesnt have enough juice to spin the tires so it never loses traction! sounds easy right? well its not. it needs to have 212,000+ miles on it, with bald sears and roebuck (VERY old tires) that are dry rotted ( the weather cracks are the tread now  ) and low enough compression so you can turn the engine over with the fan belt. :D now you can all rest easy and feel totally safe this winter, unless you dont have a luv :P
