Well, decided to take a break from my electrical woes, and did this upgrade this weekend....

Before:

After:

Seats are from a 1988 Honda Prelude. I think I might redo the mounts I fabbed, but that is something to do later.

This next pic is of my guage cluster I installed after I replaced my engine. Wanted to be able to keep a better eye on things and it fit just perfect. As for a stereo, now that I have my buckets in, I am working on a custom console, we'll see how it goes.

More to come as I get the urge. Was in a sharing mood tonight I guess.

Later gaters,

Chad

same seats as I have for mine got them for $40 for the pair ,look like new. The mounts where not to hard to make , no new holes to drill. by the way they look great.

Thanks Cat, think I could talk you into taking pics of how you did your mounts? Mine work, but I'm just not that happy with the way they turned out.

I do like the seats though and am very pleased with the upgrade.

These are the mounts I made, didnt make one for the front inerside of each seat. this would be looking down on the driver seat as if the door was open
Image
side view, this mounts to the stock bench seat spots then follows the curve down to mount the seat, the other bolts into the body mount
Image
What it would look like in the truck this is the driver side, all but the uprights are hiden under the carpet
Image
square tube to make the seat level, bolts into seat belt anchor with longer bolt

Thanks cat, looks great. I'll take pics of my mounts, it is fairly similar. Just need to talk my buddy with a welder into tacking the bolt heads so it doesn't take 2 people to tighten them down.

Thanks D, and yeah the green paint will probably be the last thing removed.
