Just go to Harbor Freight and BUY an engine stand.....they are like $39.00 right now.It will be well worth it in the long run.
In Colo spgs they are located at Circle and Fountain on S.E. corner, not hard to find at all. 8)

got the motor out over the weekend. man, it fought me the whole way. pulled the block, trans, xfer case at once. i was just going to pull the block but i was unable to get to the center top bolt thats holds the tranny to the block out :x
got it on the engine stand.. the bolts snapped and you know what smashed to the ground 8O  block looks okay though..

also painted the whole front clip, engine bay, and the interior. then i put on a nice clear coat and man it shines. to bad the fenders will be covering up most of my work :(

also did alot of body work too.

looks like the 1.8 maybe not going back in. i have my eye on a 350 here in town
