im really getting into these v8 luvs and hoping to get one and fix it up myself.mean while i was wondering like on the front of a luv.say you keep the stock front...what type shocks you run l;ike drag shocks can you put coil overs on em and will a shock like camaro/vega work thanks guys

I am going to coil overs soon but I currently use Comp Engineering 3 way adjustable (set at 90/10) shocks from a 62-67 Nova. I put a shock extender on it because its a tad too short but it does the job. at the strip i crank the torsions all the way down so the front is sitting on the rubber stoppers. that way there is no resistance from the torsion bar when the front suspension needs to travel/extend.
