TRUCK WENT 5.25 132.........friday night with super tune and 250 shot......i did not WIN anything=-at the cruise in..too many people hogged all the ballot slips and voted for themselves..all gone when i went to get some....it don't matter, I got the most views and questions asked about the truck,it was nice to see so many people interested, and swarmed by picture takers,changed interior to purple....installed more fuel and nos gauges outside for viewing ,course had to remove delay and nos computer for cruise in..people were saying 'damn.....holy shit etc..i have to admit ,it looked tremendous ..thats my show hood..i have several......has a picture of my mother ingraved on silver plate and attached to my hood..she passed 2 years ago.truck dedicated to her memory but I have been offered a shot at a business deal,i am checking it out,if so ,truck will go up locally,nationwide,ebay etc for sale....with everything...so heads up..not for sure.....thanks for looking bros and carry on......Kevin

larp..you r exactly right.......i had several say pink?huh?what?but it grows on ya i keep tellin myself that........yes,. i get steven king A LOT wish i had his money....lmao.......yes i wiped two studs out on the left rear and three on the right=at the track on second pass..i was really babyn it at the cruise in =only 5 blocks away used lock tight .truck getting all new studs......as we speak....one guy said it better be fast =being pink.his mustang runs 7 90s which is damn fast for a street car,one guy told him my truck went low 5s at 132..he said bullshit..until the track promotor who had the batmobile stepped in and said he did,i was there ,it was my track......quote =track owner..he said fastest street legal car/truck i have ever seen to have all lights,wipers,horn working. and without a blower and 2 fours or a dominator.but i do have a secret.loll...........thanks for the comments......truck will go low low eights.......8 20s/ high 160s low 170s in the 1/4 if i can hook it and hold it with 2nd stage low sevens but it aint worth frying it and right now if i blow it up i don't have the funds to rebuild it.so best to be safe.....im not borrowing money to fix up my truck/did it way too many times....have a good evening larp .. hopefully i can post some pix at the track..remember though no bumper/tail gate,sheet metal manifold,slicks.diff seat looks different but still has tags lmao..but still pink.haha

well half the money to paint came from my girlfriend......i was leaning toward shannon green which was actually offered in 1978 on the luv trucks..her favorite color is pink........i changed it to pink at the last minute to surprise her,,,,,and me,its ok .hey the chicks dig it....makes em hot , lol!I forgot to mention she makes TWICE the $$$$$$ I do..mid 70s...so I allow her to have a voice...she had to work labor day,shes an lpn with a masters in burn unit at UVA..anyways she made 87 dollars an hour for a 12 hour shift..yea..i know you do the math......i just smiled and said new regulators ..etc..she said 'whats a regulator'..lmao.se ya guys..........

My frame is the same color and the seperating stripe on the body is "Magenta" which of course is another word for "Pink"!

actually Todd ..years back I had a paint scheme/stripes very close to yours.........the truck had been in primer as in forever..i like that scheme and diff colors...i might so with some stripes on the sides.....and paint the chevrolet =words on the tailg..purple .....your truck looks great.keep up the good work..........
