Hi, all went to dash restorations today to test fit one of the new dashes they have a few little problems with fitting just some of the edges are not tapered enough. The shape of the new dash is not as flat as the original ones it looks like it has a lot more shape to it, sort of a smooth and round.
Had a look at the material it is made of and it spun me out when i saw that the dashes are really hand prepared in the work shop. Hopefully i will have mine installed in a week or so. Jim should have some picks, i found an ant nest under my old dash hehehe. Will fill you all in when i get mine fitted.

Quick question has anyone put a sub into their luvs with the bench seats in there? if so where?

I made my own box for a 12" sub. 3.75" mdf for all sides except the back. Made the back out of fiberglass so it would contour to the back cab wall and save some space. Do some research and find a sub that needs a small inclosure. Thatll help also. My bench would still be usable, but wouldnt be all the way back. I actualy am using buckets and the box is behind the passenger seat. You could probably be able to put the seat all the way back if you went with a 10" in a small enclosure.

i just bought a 12" sub, i think itll fit back there.

Sorry if i started an arguement but was just reporting to all the owner in the US how the dash process is going. I have waited for this dash to be produced for a while and thought that everyone else would like to hear about them from a private buyer.

As for the walmart dash, it would be ok for you to post up and show people how to make your dash so people can make the choice for themselves. Whether they want to buy one or make one.

haha thanks, yeah it's getting there. Hopefully gonna get a stepside bed here real soon and finally get the engine in and running. Then comes all the little detail work, oh and interior. lol.
