I know this is short notice so I apologize. Just letting everyone know that I'm planning to go to Irwindale speedway Thursday afternoon for the races.

I most likely won't be driving my truck because I don't have a trailer and/or a tow vehicle, but I'll be there with a digital camera for sure.

I'm looking forward to seeing everyone from our first meet if possible, and maybe some new LUV owners as well.

I'll be there with my mustang club group. Look for my white 88 GT or Ben.

I'm heading out the door right now. See you guys there!

For the rest of you, I'll bring back pictures and maybe a video or two.

Here's a little bit of the action that was caught on camera. I didn't go too crazy with the camera because it didn't do too well at night. The lights at the track seemed to confuse it or something. You'll see some of the videos below had some focus problems too.

I snapped this of Mike as he was driving down the return road at about 55 mph. :)

Now the videos. Like I said, the camera was having problems focusing and I was having problems using the zoom on the camera, so don't expect perfection.

Here's a video of Chanin Miyashiro making a pass.

Man, now that I see those videos at home, I think I fucked them up pretty good. Especially the one of Mike and Howard together.

I need to buy my own camera and learn how to use it.

I didn't drive my truck because the registration is expired and I don't have a trailer for it.

I drove the Camaro and made a pass just for the heck of it. It turns out that trying to drag race on GS-C's is a waste of everyone's time. I literally sat behind the tree for a good second and a half with my tires roasting away. After pedaling the thing about 3 times it finally grabbed and yielded me the worst timeslip I've ever received.

R/T = .999
60' = 2.513
330' = 6.367
1/8th = 9.505
MPH = 78.92

I didn't bother making another pass.

:D Dear Ben,
Those video shots you got of us at Irwindale were fine! They were better than we could ever do! Thanks! 8) Maybe you should come to Vegas next week and tape more passes! Ha ha!
Mike's pass was a 7.04@98.3MPH
