I tubbed the Luv last weekend and took several pictures along the way.I sent them in and they can now be seen in the picture gallery.I also sent some pictures of it getting the Big Block.
Still have to buy wheels and tires among other things but you can check them out in the projects gallery (Scott Howard) RATNLUV.

The breather comes off with no problem. If you notice it is all under the stock hood also, but I did have to cut the latch out of the hood. I also left the panel to where it comes off with the 2 screws one at each end.Makes it easy to get to distributor and everything. It is easier to work on it than you would think.

I just thought I would update and let everyone know it is back on the road again.I put about 100 miles on it this weekend.
I did cut it back apart and go with a 4-Link ,coilovers,29 X 15.50 Mickey
Thompsons on 12" weld wheels and a Ford 9" with a Posi and 4.11 gears.
I also put the fuel cell and Holley blue pump on it along with a Sniper NOS nitrous kit.
It draws attention even though it is in primer and plenty of bodywork left.
It does have a firewall and the dash and bed cover will be my next projects.
I really enjoyed riding around in it and had several people ask what was in it but I guess I am getting old because it is just too loud for me.I am sort of limited on exhaust because of the panhard bar but all it has now is headers, and Flowmasters with turndowns and I am going to have to do something to get it to where you hear in the truck.
