HOWDY, JUST PICKED UP THE NEW PROJECT...1980 4X4...RUNNING,BUT ROUGH. WE DROVE IT HOME,ABOUT 2 MILES ON 3 CYL. LOOK'S LIKE AN ING. PROB. OVERALL NOT BAD SHAPE,ABOUT WHAT YOU WOULD EXPECT FOR THE $500.00 SALE PRICE...QUICK QUES. OTHER THAN THE 1.8, WHAT ENGINE'S WILL BOLT DIRECTLY TO THE DRIVE TRAIN ? 2.3? V6?, V8? [/url]

you can get the "small block" isuzu 4bangers to bolt up. Thos are the 1.8L, 1.9L and 2.0L. Welcome to the site and good luck whith the truck :D

thanks for the info...curious what mods you have done to the 1.8...I like the dual sidedraft build...we used to do that in my early day's with toyota's. thanks again Pete

i wanted to get twin sidedrafts for my luv but my steering column is in the way :( damn right hand drive!

theres still not alot of room, the custom manifold i have just fits and thats without the carbs
