I'm thinking of making some replacement knobs for my light & wiper switches. Both of mine have stripped out set screw holes and the knobs tend to slip. I'm going to make them out of aluminum and have them polished and anodized black. I also have a laser engraver that I can etch the original markings on the knob. Would there be any interest in these parts if I made them available for sale. Does anyone else have this problem? I'm not sure of cost at this time. It depends on how many I have made at one time. Let me know if you are interested

I have a 1980 , we replaced the lights, wipers and heater knobs with black chrome kitchen cabinette knobs from Home depot.
With just minor drilling and a tap set they fit right on.
They have two sizes Large and Small. The are rather heavy beening made from brass and covered in black chome. They look great against the black of the dash board. By the way the 80's have the fuctions printed into the dash in white letters that reflect back onto the chrome knobs.
Just an Idea.
