Hello,

I talked with Moser Engineeringhttp://www.moserengineering.comtoday and they DO NOT Re-Drill LUV rotors for five lug anymore. They said the DEMAND was to low and to labor intense to keep the process in production. The point is, if we prove to them that their is a demand for this process then maybe they will start doing it again. So help bring this process back with e-mails and phone calls. The number is (260) 726-6689 or info@moserengineering.com

Thanks

You might be better off finding a local machine shop to re-drill your hubs. The proccess of working Luv hubs require that the rotors need to be drilled too. That translates to more shipping costs. Once the assy's are redrilled, the hub/rotor are now permanently joined to each other. And besides, the work done by Moser isn't that accurate. I had a set re-dilled by them and one of the studs is off by a degree or 2. The lug will gall itself to the stud and it will thread out of the hub. I have this problem with each hub. It's not like i was going to ship it all back to Moser and complain but if i had it done locally, i could at least been more involved with the proccess. It's a "Hit or Miss" type mod and i just happened to get a "Miss". The only way Moser will tool up for this is by getting confirmed orders to do a large number of hubs.
It's kinda like the T-shirts here. A lot of people said they wanted them and now Ben is trying to eliminate the inventory. Moser will not tool up for a wish list of people. It would have to be profitable.
I'd ask around and talk to local racers and find out who does hub drilling. You can verify the work and you will save money on shipping.
