Good idea :!: IF.....you can make it fit 8O
I've always said that"Anything will fit in anything if you have the tools, time and patience". 8) I put 440 Mopar into a Lil AMC Gremlin yrs ago, so what you're up against there should be a breeze compared to that. :D

theres a blue LUV in the gallery that has a 302 in it. if that fits then a 351w should fit. It aint that much bigger.

Yea, but he's got a 351M, which is a de-stroked 400, so its a bit bigger than the Windsor. If'n a 454 Chebby can be swapped into a LUV, then the 351M should be fine. Just a matter of money, patience, & skills.

According to my boss (ford guru). . .The 351 Windsor and Modified engines have the same block but the modified has "modified heads" that displace more. I dunno, stopped being a ford guy when my crown vic went down.

LOL- he ain't no Ford guru. Completely different blocks. The Modified is a big block & has the same bell housing pattern as the 460. Its considered part of the 335 series engine family, which is 351C, 351M, 400's. (429/460s are the 385 series)

I can't remember for sure as I don't consider myself an expert, but the Boss 302 engine was a 302 block w/ 351C heads. The 351C heads can also be used on the Windsor, giving you the "Cleavor" engine, IIRC. I'll be darned if I can't remember if the C uses the same heads as the M, though.
