So in Jessmn's luv there is some freaky dash out of some weird vehicle. Anyway when you don't like something what do you do? Make it yourself. lol. anyway i have done welding in highschool, and have been talkin to people about welders and i have found a couple at like sears. I am really lookin at this lincoln. It is a 120 volt i believe. that is what i want cause it is small and portable and i think i am mainly going to do sheet metal work and light stuff like that. i think it welds like 1/8th inch at the most. Anyway my question is what do you guys think is the best bang for your buck on a welder. Budget is limited to about 400 tops. Thanks for your input.

Actually my welder is from wal-mart and hasnt failed me yet. Its that cambell housfield or something like that. it was only around 100 bucks. But if i was going to do serious welding i would go with lincon its a good brand.

I just bought a cheap wire feed/flux core welder a few months ago for about $150 and has been great for welding sheet metal. I even repaired some broken office chair legs with it too. Good investment as long as you dont want to start welding cages or chassis stuff.
