I know that this is a chevy luv page but I have a question about it's close cousin the ford courier. I own a 74' and I inherited a 351. I know that there are a lot of wrencheads out there that can answer this question. I need to know if a C4 will connect to the 351? I plan on putting some power into the little fellow. But to all of you Luv owners, I am working on a luv too!. My dad had a 74' Luv that I was finally able to talk him out of and a good buddy of mine had a 350 lying around. He said I could have it and I plan on putting some bucks into this motor. But while I am in progress on the drag luv, I have to have a toy to cruise in........Right? Well I have the courier and the motor soo look out. Hopefully soon I will have this monster on the road. The thing about the luv is it doesn't have the title, so instead of going through title work(crap) I plan on making it strictly drag. Well just had a question too ask and turned it into my mini truck life story. Later Fellas

 a c-4 will bolt to a 351 the thing you have to check is the bell housing. on the c-4 & c-6 the bell housings are removable pull the it off and match it to your motor. that`s what a friend told me anyway, i`m not a ford guy myself. good luck terry

YOU COULD ALSO GO WITH A 3 PIECE FMX TRANSMISSION

Dont even bother with the FMX, it isnt even worthy of being called a boat anchor.
You didnt specify which 351 you have. Is it a Windsor or a Cleveland? If you dont know the difference, the windsor looks just like a 302 just a bit larger, the Cleveland loks like a miniature 460.

if you have the 351 winsor save yourself some trouble and find a bellhousinh out of a mustangII as it will fix space problems I had a Dodge Ram50 with a 302/C4 with a 8in for from a Mercury monarc with
3:0.8 ifound out the hard way 4 bellhousings later also get the shift linkage
and the kickdown linkage and the floor shifter it will save you the fustrations of finding the right hardware the D50 was one wild truck!!
