I got my license begining of January, the Department of Motor Vehicles gave me a temporary til my real one came in the mail, supposedly in 3-4 weeks they said, well its not here yet and my temp is expired on march 1, i dunno what to do, i kinda hope I do get pulled over, then i will really have something to bitch about.

I get pulled over weekly. Sometimes even twice a week. I am used to driving some more nice cars. But when I drive the luv, it looks more like a beater and the cops don't leave me alone at all.

Call them and tell what's happened and see what they say. You don't want to be become well known to the guys that patrol the streets. You won't be able go anywhere without being watched. If you bitch to them they still give you a ticket and tell you" Tell it to the Judge" If you do anything to get their attention make it helping somebody out and participating in some of their events. Then when you get stopped you could end up with a different rusult.

All you have to do is go there and they will extend the temp tag at no extra cost. I live in IL but I would assume it would work the same in other states.

dont feel bad bro. just go up to the office and tell em that you havent recieved it yet and they will take care of ya the cops around here really like my truck, i get pulled over daily, but they cant write me tickets for anything other than mud flaps, but my father is a state official so they wont do anything about it. and then you got a couple here that actually wanna race my luv (350 conversion which will beat every car in my town now)

Mud flaps??? am I supposed to have mud flaps!?

My tires stick out 12" on each side (295-50r-15 on 15"x10" white spokes). Temporary rear end until I am able to complete my custom frame.

you have to have mud flaps if you have over 27 inches of ground clearance.

man ive been waiting 6 months for my ID witch i still havent gotten i get my licence in 3-4 weeks so im hoping same wont happen with me
