check this out i blew my tranny last week and got everything to fix my 72 luv but, i just got another luv today prestine man this thing even looks brand new underneath not spot a rust or anything on it. the reason i bought the first luv was to race this spring but now i got 2 i was thinking of converting the old luv into a dually " monster towing machine" to tow my other luv to the track how sweet would that be.

That would be the shit. A big rear end, dana 60 or better, and a heavier frame and you could make it a car hauler. How badass would that be to have a flatbed luv hauler, with a drag luv on it? Good luck and post some pics if you do it.

wow thats one hell of an idea. Shouldnt need to beef up the frame too much, the only real limitaition would be the axles and power.

Well there is a guy in Alabama who says he has about 75 luvs sitting on his land and he deals specifically with the luvs ( I bought a turning signal unit from him) He has a Chevy Luv as his tow truck to go pick up other Luvs, he says he has the whole tow truck rig set up on it, the last time I talked to him he was putting in a V-8 in it. Oh well just my two pennies.

I got one for ya. Theres a guy in my town that has a luv but the thing is he has a big block not sure what size, but it sits behind the cab, they have stretched the rear end about 2 or 3 ft back. This thing looks sick. I dont know what it runs in the Q/M but ill try to find out and get a few picts soon.

Wow, now this a topic....DUALLYS!! Gotta love em. 8)

But anyways, this summer i was cruzin' my small town and came across a S10 parked at the local 7-11 convenience store. Didn't pay much attention to it, until i got closer. I got looking and it was a dually S10!! Well so it appeared....the guy had molded the "hips" from a 2000 Ford Superduty onto the sides. But instead of putting dually wheels he put the some 20" wide (or more i forget) slicks in there! It looked absolutley mean. Just imagine how wide of slicks you could pack in there if it was tubbed and the axles shortened! 8) And it looked like it could be factory made. So sleak and clean looking. Plus he had a 350 in there and made a hell of a noise too. I think he was running some burnt out glasspacks for exhaust

Yeah Yeah i know it was an S10, but who cares it was still cool, i got to thinking about doing that to my LUV. It would sure set it apart from other LUV's! I forgot all about that till i read this post. Good thing i did, cuz it was one of the coolest things i have seen in a while! 8) :)
