Last Saturday I was driving around town, looking for garage sales and other things. I saw one around a corner and went to it. The house was old, and was up for sale. The original homeowners died, so the grandchildren were running the estate sale. Many people were there looking for stuff. I went to the garage and looked for car parts. There was many parts there, but many were newer and didn’t look related to the luv. I looked at a box that was about to get thrown out, (grandchildren were throwing boxes and boxes into a dump truck) I quickly snagged a big box and looked in there. There was many Hanes repair manuals so I moved them out. This May be the luckiest find I’ve ever found at an estate sale. At the very bottom of the box was a dust-coated radio. I pulled it out and my eyes popped out of my head. I found a stock LUV radio. It was in great condition. No scratches or anything. The grand kid knew nothing about it and I bought it for $7. I later got home and cleaned it up as best as it could. When I showed it to my son he had the same reaction I had when I found it. I’m not 100% sure if it’s a genuine radio but it sure looks like it. This will be perfect for his build. Anybody know the value, info, or rarity? Let me know when you can.

my fuzzy recollection of both my Luvs was that they both had Fujitsu 10 radios. weren't Motorola's of that era made in America??
