Hello! New here. So I've found a '75 Luv locally for sale and have literally fallen in Luv. It's a good price and supposedly runs and drives great. New alternator, battery, hydraulic hoses. Says it's been maintained and only around 90,000 miles. I'm looking to buy it as my daily driver. Question I have here, is this a foolish idea? My family says I'll regret it. So do these guys typically need alot of work? I know older vehicles need work but what are the typical problems/concerns with them? Really, I'm just looking for motivation besides everyone saying I'm nuts for not just buying a boring newer car. Thanks!
Krystle

If you have mechanical knowledge and can work on it yourself, I'd say go for it. If not it can get expensive fast having it worked on because shops don't want to work on old stuff.
Some parts are getting hard to find more and more.
