That is one of the nicest Luvs I have ever seen, really a nice little truck. I do prefer the original stepside beds though like mine had. Only other things missing (in my opinion) is nicer wheels, 5 lug conversion and an overdrive trans. I like to drive my cars on the freeway and all over.
The interior was super clean and a custom dash with gauges too. I would have enjoyed seeing it in person.

I do know what it takes to do a frame off resto as I am completing my 69 Chevelle convertible, it is super expensive.
body and paint work like that out here in Cali can easily cost 3-7K if you have to pay a shop.
Unfortunately again IMO these Luv trucks just don't command the high dollars and are for some reason not that collectable.
so 19K may be tough.

As an example Tuesday 6/13/17 I put my 73 luv up for sale at $5,300.00 had a nice 350 and a good 700R4 trans, ran and drove great. It still needed a ton of work to be like this one on ebay. (see my write ups on the truck on this site)
I put it on C/L here in San Diego, had a call on it in 30 minutes, 4 more texts and email's in the next 24 hrs..it was paid for and left my house the next day. I had it in the right price range obviously.

Might get 12-13K for the ebay Luv who knows...

Upon further review this truck is a hack job . I would be embarrassed to own it. I would much rather have the flat black truck above .

A hack job?
The interior is really nice, the paint and body work are also very nice, engine compartment is clean, of course that's just from the pictures.
It would be popular and do well at the car shows I go to regularly. I don't see any LUVs at the cars shows here.
Lots of V8 Vegas though.

Of course none of the race trucks I've seen hear are cut up or modified at all....
I've seen the larger fenders used on others here on this site as well.

I do think some of you guys on this site could build a nicer one though.

Let see it!

The rear fenders on the yellow truck are "factory". They made 3 styles of beds...

what's up with all the photo bucket problems? I can't see the pics...

mytmouz,
The ad mentioned this truck had "dually" fenders, they looked kinda big to me compared to the ones on my stepside.
I don't think that was one of the offerings?...but I've been wrong before.

see attached...still for sale on ebay

Mine are the same as the ones on the listed truck. Unfortunately, all my pics are being held hostage by photobucketofcrap...
