It has finally gotten cold enough for a heater in the truck now. There hasn't been any heater hoses on it since I got the truck and today I found out why. My heater core is on the left side, right behind the valve cover. I have about an inch of clearance, it's going to make a kink in my hoses. Anyone have any suggestions? It's getting cold down here. :lol:

I don't know if this is possible, but see if you can access them hose fitting under the dash and just cut them of short. So you have to inlet/outlets under the dash instead of on the firewall. This way you can drill new holes in the firewall where they won't interfere with anything and call it good. From my observations this would invole either taking the dash apart or taking the heater assembly out.....Lots a work...but at least your warm... :lol:

I think I need to put an order in for a heater I can plug into my cig lighter for christmas. Sounds like it would be warm here again before I would get done with it. :lol:

I went out and looked at mine, and it looks like the tubes were bent to the side so the hoses wouldnt kink.
